A delusional serial killer must come to terms with his cheating wife
and is determined to catch the two lovers in the act and deal with them
in the "appropriate manner".
Michael is on a date and, from the looks of it, he is not having a good
time. Little does his date know that Michael is, in fact, a delusional
serial killer. At the conclusion of the date, Michael takes care of her
in the same manner that any serial killer would.
Fleeing from her
apartment, Michael is confronted with an obstacle, or rather, a
witness. It is then decided that he must return in order to tie up
loose ends. Michael returns home where he is overwhelmed by a feeling
of guilt as he watches his wife, fast asleep, in bed.
He cannot help
but feel disgust for the crimes he commits and for his infidelities. It
becomes apparent that there is a force that persuades and alters his
decision. Michael calls this force, The Other One.
The next day,
Michael pays his witness a visit and disposes of her quickly. After
doing so, Michael goes home with a clear conscious, having not flirted
or slept with the witness, who is an attractive young woman. When he
reaches his house, he sits in his car to reflect for a brief moment
when he notices another car pulling up to his driveway. A man exits
from the vehicle and walks into the house. It is here that Michael
becomes aware of his wife’s infidelity. We learn that this is not the
first time that his wife, Jenny, has cheated on him with the same man.
Michael is well aware of this and intends to confront the man. After
his “meeting” with this stranger, The Other One thinks it’s a good idea
to catch Jenny and this stranger in the act for what could prove to be
a final confrontation. It is here that we discover that not everything
is what it seems.
